Lane Edge is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how our Chrome extension collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use Lane Edge on the DAT One loadboard.

1. Information We Collect

Email Address

Used for the quick email feature to contact brokers. Not stored beyond what is needed to deliver this feature.

DAT One Page Data

Load info (rates, mileage, origin/destination) is read to calculate RPM and deadhead miles and apply filters. Processed locally and not transmitted to our servers.

User Preferences

Filter settings are saved locally in your browser using Chrome storage. Not sent to our servers.

License and Trial Status

A unique identifier is sent to our servers to validate your free trial or subscription. No extra personal data is transmitted.

Usage Analytics

Anonymous, aggregated data about feature usage is collected to improve the product. This does not identify you personally.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate Lane Edge and its features
• To validate your free trial or subscription
• To send emails on your behalf via the quick email feature
• To analyze anonymous usage and improve the product
• To communicate about your account or subscription if needed

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising. We may share data only with trusted service providers acting on our behalf, or if required by law.

4. Data Retention

Server-side data is kept only as long as needed to operate the service. Local preferences can be cleared by uninstalling the extension or clearing extension storage.

All data transmitted to our servers is encrypted via HTTPS. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information.

Lane Edge is intended for professional freight dispatchers and is not directed at children under 13.
